Handwoven of sustainable natural fibers, the product is uniquely beautiful both in its design and in its stewardship to the Earth. Nature, with its abundance of beauty, provides the materials for Urban DecorsTM handwoven window coverings. Each is unique, reflecting the distinctive characteristics of its natural fibers and the mastery of the artist who created it.

A beautifully sheer, ivory-toned grasscloth accented with random strands of honey-toned fibers. Sandstone warp threads. Due to sheerness, we recommend Cassette Headrail option to conceal operating mechanisms.

Note: Before you order a roller shade, please be aware that the fabric width for roller shades is always at least 1 1/4" narrower than the size you order. That’s because all roller shades have fairly big mounting brackets/clutch mechanisms which necessarily take up space. This results in a slight "light gap" on the sides of the shade. (1/2 to 3/4)

TIPS:

Swag valances are created when a long scarf of fabric is hung across the top of the window, and secured by decorative sconces or brackets, resulting in a graceful drape of fabric on the window. A swag is sometimes simply hung over a curtain rod. They can be used on many different types and sizes of windows: short or long, narrow or wide. Lightweight fabrics work best in this application, as they’re easier to arrange and they hang nicely. They can be used to create a casual look or more of a polished look.
